FAQ
Two Ravens Tattoo – FAQ
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. We take walk-ins when artists are available. Availability changes day to day, so stopping by the shop is the best way to check. If you have something specific in mind, booking ahead is always recommended.
How do I book an appointment?
Appointments can be booked through the Booking page on the website, by calling or texting the shop, or by stopping in person. Each artist manages their own schedule, and we’ll help match you with the right artist for your idea.
Is a deposit required?
Yes. All appointments require a non-refundable deposit. Your deposit goes toward the final price of your tattoo and secures your appointment time.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
We understand things come up. We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in loss of deposit.
What is your shop minimum?
Our shop minimum is $150. This covers design time, setup, sterile single-use equipment, and the experience of your artist. Even small tattoos require the same professional preparation.
Do you tattoo minors?
No. We do not tattoo anyone under 18, even with parental consent. A valid government-issued photo ID is required.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, within reason. One guest is usually fine. Large groups, children, or distractions may be asked to wait outside to keep the workspace focused and safe.
Do you do custom designs?
Absolutely. Custom work is what we do best. Bring reference images, ideas, or concepts and your artist will create a one-of-a-kind design made specifically for you and your body.
Can you copy another tattoo exactly?
No. We don’t copy tattoos. We’re happy to use inspiration and create an original design that fits your vision while respecting other artists’ work.
Do you do cover-ups?
Yes, depending on the size, placement, and existing tattoo. Cover-ups usually need to be larger and bolder than the original piece. A consultation is the best way to plan it correctly.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on the size, placement, level of detail, time involved, and the artist. Your artist will always discuss pricing before starting. No surprises.
How should I prepare for my tattoo?
Eat beforehand, stay hydrated, avoid alcohol or drugs, get a good night’s sleep, and wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area.
What about aftercare?
Your artist will explain aftercare in detail at your appointment. Following aftercare instructions is your responsibility and plays a major role in how your tattoo heals and looks long-term.
Do you offer touch-ups?
Touch-up policies vary by artist and tattoo. Healing, placement, and aftercare all matter, so ask your artist about their specific touch-up policy.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards are available and make a great gift for any occasion.
